Preschool
Our preschool curriculum teaches sorting, matching, colors, space perception, counting, sequencing, shapes, and recognizing names in print. Fine motor skills such as balance and hopping. Self-help skills such as buttoning, snapping, and zipping. These skills are encouraged through play, activities, and daily routines.
Pre-K
Our Pre-K curriculum teaches self-awareness, opposites, the printing of names, letters, and numbers, language development, and learning addresses and phone numbers. We work on developing motor skills by pencil grasping, tracing and drawing, balance, and catching. We also focus on self-help skills, dressing without help, washing hands, shoes on the correct feet, and manners.
School Aged
Our School Aged Program offers a full range of after-school activities for children up to 13 years old, including arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor sports, homework supervision, and snacks in the afternoon. Greenmont and Lakeview Jr. High buses drop off here. Our program keeps children engaged and active.

What ages are you licensed for?We are licensed for children 2 years 9 months (33 months) and above.

Do you provide lunch or snacks?Robin’s Nest provides a light morning breakfast, fruit or vegetables at morning snack, and various offerings for afternoon snack. Children bring their own lunches.

What Elementary School district is Robin’s Nest located in?We are located in the Greenmont School district. The bus picks up and drops off students here. We are included in the Richardson Middle School bus routes.

Do you have any pets?YES. We do have a dog named Humphrey. He is a mini golden retriever.

Do you provide transportation?NO. We do not provide transportation.

Are the teachers and aides CPR and First Aid certified?YES. All staff are trained and certified in CPR and First Aid as required by the EEC.

Do you accept Child Care Circuit Vouchers?YES. We do participate in the CCC Voucher Program.

How is tuition billed and what forms of payment do you accept?Tuition is billed on a weekly basis for the up coming week. We accept, cash, check, credit cards, and vouchers.

Are Birthdays and Special Occasions celebrated at Robin’s Nest?YES. We do celebrate each child’s birthday. We also celebrate most holidays and special occasions such as Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentines Day, St. Patrick’s Day, and Easter.

Are you licensed by the State of Massachusetts and for how many children?YES. We are licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC). Our group license is for 38 Preschool and PreK children, and we also have a license for 23 School Aged children.

What holidays do you close for and do you have “shut down” weeks?We are closed most holidays, New Years Day, MLK Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. We do not have shut down weeks.

Is Robin’s Nest “peanut free”?No, We are not peanut free. We do have children with nut allergies and teach everyone to be aware and respectful of each other.

What hours are you open?Robin’s Nest opens at 6:30am and closes at 6:00pm (or when the last child departs)

How do I add a new question & answer?To add a new FAQ follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Add a new question & answer 3. Assign your FAQ to a category 4. Save and publish. You can always come back and edit your FAQs.

How do I edit or remove the 'Frequently Asked Questions' title?You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor. To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.

Can I insert an image, video, or GIF in my FAQ?Yes. To add media follow these steps: 1. Manage FAQs from your site dashboard or in the Editor 2. Create a new FAQ or edit an existing one 3. From the answer text box click on the video, image or GIF icon 4. Add media from your library and save.
